“ I very much enjoyed this restaurant. I had the Texas Platter with a house salad and chili beans. The only thing "Texas" about this platter was the size of the meal. It is served on a cafateria size tray and I was unable to finish the meal. The un-Texas (California special) Tri-Tip was very good. However, I could have done without the bbq sauce on the Tri-Tip. The shrimp were large, and the sausage was very well flavored. The half chicken was a little dry but very well seasoned and was great. The highlight of the meal was the chili beans. By far, the BEST beans I have had in a while. They made the platter! ”
“ Loved loved the sugar pine! Had the sampler with jalapeno poppers and calamari and garlic fries...with a fatty bloody Mary to top it off..the service was done with a smile and good humor.the atmosphere was awesome inside and out in the patio ..gorgeous day and great company ”
“ Fired Up Cover Band had a great time rocking out with the good people at Sugar Pine Smokehouse. The crowd was so fun and engaging, the food was incredible, and the drinks were equally amazing especially considering how hot it was that day. Big thanks to Sugar Pine Smokehouse and all of the amazing people who came out to see us lay down our favorite tunes!!!! ”
“ Excellent food taste. Chili beans were a little dry to my liking but they had a good flavor. We also order the calamari appetizer and it was delicious. Perfectly fried. The chicken dinner combined perfectly with the pickled onion with oregano. Meat loaf was delicious. Good portions on the meals, more than enough for one person. Our waitress, Kelli was really attentive. TO BAD IT IS GOING TO CLOSE ON CHRISTMAS EVE. I will be returning very soon one last time… ”
